A while back I was reading a post about a book, a very positive book that people said was great for people diagnosed with a life threatening illness such aa cancer. I wrote it down, but can't find it.. does anyone know the name/author of this book?? Thanks..
My husband was diagnosed 2 years ago with stage 4 colon cancer, at the age of 44. He will be 46 in 2 weeks and just found out the cancer has now spread into both lungs. He's had his rectum removed with a permanent colostomy, a liver resection and many other things such as radiation, chemo (folfox with avastin), theraspheres). A second liver resection was to be done early september, but cannot be done now because of further spreading. I just think he needs a positive book right now... thanks

Ahoy, Judy -
I can't say what the book is that you are referring to, but I can say that just about anything by Deepak Chopra, MD is uplifting as well as spiritually enlightening. Here is a link to his titles:

I would also highly recommend "Chicken Soup for the Surviving Soul". It is a wonderful compendium of short, positive anecdotes. I recommend it to everyone who walks our path - survivors AND caregivers. You should consider reading it, too.
Keeping you and Mike in my prayers.
