My mom is now home!

This is Rebekah, Kathie's daughter, once again. I am so excited to update you and let you know that my mom went home today! It's been almost four weeks since we first took her to the hospital and given the odds she has had against her, to have her at home now is a true miracle and blessing. I live in Denver but I just talked to her on the phone and she sounded so happy to be home and was reading a magazine, something she hasn't felt like doing in so long. She has had two rounds of chemo in the past two weeks and get's another next week, so please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she still has a tough road ahead. I must say though that her strength and positive attitude during all of this has been such an inspiration. She is a pretty amazing woman, as are all of you.
