Her marker almost stayed the same from 11.7 to 11.2 this time out of a 21 range. Dr. has now ordered a PET CT Scan at the end of this month to see how things are doing. I pray the
Lord she may have a long remission, if that is even possible. Blessings to all. Liz

Liz, Your mother seems to be in a very good position at present and it is possible for her to have long remissions but that is in Gods hands. Believe in her and encourage her because it is a difficult journey but it is possible and it does happen. I have seen two people who the drs have written off go into long remissions and they are still cancer free today. I hope your mother has a long remission and my prays are with her. Irene0

My best to you and your Mom. Those are good numbers! We'll pray for continued, unending remission. You're doing the best that anyone can in this situation. So glad we can all 'hold hands' together to get through these difficult moments!
Luv and Hugs AND Prayers,

Saundra this would be her 3rd PET. Actually before detecting her 1st recurrence (March) she had just had an abdominal pelvic CT Scan in late January wich said everything was o.k. and the PET showed everything. They are much more precise and much more expensive as well.saundra said:Prayers for your Mother. May she stay with low numbers. We are all different and yet the same. Is this the first PET? I have never had one. Only CT's for me so far. ((Hugs)) Saundra
