I got the results of my CT scan today and it showed NO Evidence of Progression (I'm calling it NEP as I will never be NED :) The last scan and chemo was two months ago. Liver function and CEA count all hanging in there! The SIR-Spheres is a no go because of all the tumors in my liver, but he is referring me to MD Anderson "to see what they have to offer". My onc said that they are also conducting a trial with a new drug right here and I might consider it depending on the MD Anderson consultation. We will also do a PET scan either there or here within the month to take a better look since the last one I had was pre-chemo a year ago. He said that I did "outstanding" with my 16 chemo treatments. FYI: Stage IV, innumerable mets to liver, diagnosed July 2006. I am happy with this news.
