Hello.
I am 50yr old male who just had a kidney removal. they found out that I had renal pelvis cancer. The thing is that the doctor thinks taht it was in early stage, but I've seen blood in my urine(asymptomatic hematuria) for over a year now... doesn't this mean that the cancer has been there for over a year and therefore has spread? I am scared to death... could someone please help me out?

thank you

I had kidney cancer that spread to my lungs first they tried a chemo called gemzitabine with no results then I enrolled in a clinical trial in methodist hosp in houston with a Dr. Ammoto for a drug called Trovax (with IL2) and my tumors in my lungs disappeared.
