It appears we are fighting the same beast. I am sorry to hear you are having to go through this as well.
I was diagnosed July 2006 with rectal cancer. Thought I had it beat after chemo/radiation. Now have mets to my lung.
My current regiment is Folfox6, which I understand to be Oxaliplatin, 5FU and Leucovourin. I receive that infusion every two weeks. With that I also receive Erbitux every week. Prior to Erbitux, I receive a Benadryl drip to fight off any possible side effects.
Tell me more about what you have learned about your diagnosis and prognosis?
My best to you.

Yep, it is one of the combos that has been proven to work in Stage 4 colorectal cancer. I was on it when I diagnosed with lung mets. I had your combo plus erbitux too. I also had CPT 11 with the other drugs.
I am now on a trial with oxali, erbitux, 5FU, leucovorin, and desatanib (the trial drug).
HOpe you tolerate it all ok. jana
