Has anyone heard of or been in a trial study for Pirfenidone in the treatment of radiation fibrosis? My husband has SEVERE fibrosis of the neck, shoulder, chest, now involving the vascular, (blood flow). His treatment for nasopharyngeal cancer ended in July 2003. He had heavy radiation, and not all people have fibrosis this bad, so if you are seeking treatment, PLEASE don't be put off by this posting. Always looking for answers. Thanks to all. B Johnston
