scammer got my name

Hi everyone, I have just read three messages that were in my inbox. Two were legimate but the thrird message was from a scammer wanting to invest money in this country and wanting me to help.....Just saw something like this on Dateline last night....Don't know how these folks think up these crazy scams to make money, even sinking so low as to prey on cancer survivors. The email was addressed, "Dearest One". Might be watching for it. Nancy

I agree that it's pretty low when people will come into a great place like ACS to do their "drity work".

I am just finishing up the cleanup on my 70-plus workstation network that got hit....I have 1 machine left to reload...just in time to leave for Holland on Thursday....

Most of these people don't live by 'normal' rules, I've found....it doesn't matter who you are, if you have potential as a victim, well, they start salivating....NUTS!!
I never open anything with an attachment, unless the attachment is 1, from someone I recognize, AND 2, the attachment is imbeded into the message. I let all my contacts know this...

Terrorism comes in all forms...

Also, if it was here on CSN....let the Webmaster (dear Jose) know....they are good at tracking this stuff down....
