I had 4 brain surgeries to remove my tumor in 2005. My doctor is now wanting me to begin Temodar at this time. What type of treatment have many of you undergone for low-grade level II astrocytomas?

My Sister had radiation treatment that was specifically targeted to the location of the tumors (Dec. '03) I do not remember the name of the tumor (it was level 4), or the specific treatment, but it dramatically improved her ability to function after just one treatment. I think you should follow the CSN guy's advice. That's all I know.
