Hi friends, just wanted to say I had CT scan today and I am happily danceing with NED!!! Thank you God for so many blessings! Recap:Dx Nov 2003, St 4 w/liver mets, colon resect, liver resect, rads, chemo Oxali/5FU/leucovorin for 11mos. Remission end of Oct 04. Recurrence Jan 06 in liver w/2nd liver resect, chemo CPT-11/Avastin/Xeloda. NED since Feb liver surgery last yr. Continue with Avastin every 2 wks for life. I don't post often but I do read if not everyday every other. You all are an amazing group of people, for those already NED-and happily dancing open the door...it's me. For those still fighting, the lights on and we are waiting for you so get here soon!!!!!! May God continue to Bless each and every one of you.

    How does the Avastin only cocktail make you feel? When I had it, it was a mixed concoction, and something to dread.
    Also, my onc told me that I couldn't have another liver resect. Maybe because they resected about 50% before, and it has something to do with how many tumors and size??? Just wondering.

    So good to hear your update. Your story is much like mine and it gives me hope. I'm currently on Irenotecan/Avastin/Xeloda after having RFA for an isolated recurrence in the liver.
