My RBC was low today so I got my first shot of Aranesp and a list of
the side effects. I am praying that none of them show up! Any experience with this drug from you would be appreciated if you care to share. I have tolerated the taxol and carboplatin very well through three treatments. Platelet and WBC are in normal range.

I've had aranesp also and agree with the others about the bone pain. Mine was the worst across my lower back and also my chest. My onc. said that is because the pelvic bone and the sternum across the chest are two of the larger bones in our body so that was where my pain bothered me the most. I took Advil or if it got really bad, percocet but as time went on, it got better so I didn't get the pain each time. Hang in there. It really worked to keep my counts up.0
