National Cancer Survivors Day

This Sunday I'm planning to attend my first National Cancer Survivors Day celebration of life rally. Their web site says it was started here in Kansas City by Richard Bloch (the "R" of H&R Block) and his wife and is held the first Sunday in June in many of the 700 Cancer Survivors Parks. Their web site is www.blochcancer.org. Anyone have any comments about National Cancer Survivors Day? I'm praying for good weather. We've had rain almost every day lately.

    Well, I did not realize that Sunday was National Cancer Survivors Day. I am happy to know there is a day set aside just for us! I will be on a backpacking trip that day. Enjoy your rally. I hope you get sunshine too! If you do enjoy it for me because it is supposed to rain here on Sunday. Maybe it won't though! Weathermen have been known to be wrong after all.
