Hi. I am so sorry for the anxiety you are experiencing. My husband was dx with stage IV colon cancer etc in Jan, and I know all too well what the panic feels like. Have they scheduled the biopsy yet? Hopefully it is very soon, so you dont have to worry and wait much longer. Try to remain positive right now. I know it's really hard, but your daughter is probably scared to death also and you will need to be strong for her. Remember it may turn out to be nothing. I pray that it does . Be sure she asks her doctor all the questions she has . Of course, if she is a minor, you will need to ask . Again , I can only imagine what the worry is like with your child. I'm a mom too and I know it's easy for someone else to say don't worry because it's not their kid, but please try not to jump the gun and come to conclusions yet. When you have the results, you will know exactly what you are dealing with. I think the unknown part drives us nuts. I know it does me . Please keep us posted . God Bless and prayers for your daughter and you .0

I am sorry for all the stress and worry you must be going through. I am a mother too and worry about my children. I do know that we so often worry about things before we should. Try to stay positive and wait until you get some answers and results. That is all you can do at this point. Keep a positive attitude for you and your daughter. I am sure she is as worried as you are. My thought and prayers are with you. Let us know how this turns out!

I am so sorry. I know how hard it is to hear that about someone you love.
One thing that can really help is to have a list of people you can call when you feel the need to talk. DON'T isolate! (You're already reaching out, which is great.)
I'm at my computer periodically throughout the day; if you want to talk, you can send me an email (Alyssa.Joy 'at' verizon.net) or IM (On Yahoo I'm the_writer_gal; On AIM I'm thewritergal3). I'm here for you--we all are--so hang in there!0 -
HI I HOPE BY NOW YOU HAVE SOME ANSWERS BUT IF NOT I CAN SAY I HOPE ALL WILL BE WELL. AT THE AGE OF 12 I HAD TO HAVE A BIOPSY JUST ABOVE MY LEFT KNEE ALL PRIOR TESTS SAID IT WAS A MALIGNANT TUMOR BUT IN FACT IT WAS A BENIGN (NON CANCEROUS ) GROWTH WITH NO LIFE THREATNING AFTER TONES SO HOPEFULLY SHE FINDS OUT THE SAME AS I DID . JUST BE STRONG WITH AND FOR HER NO MATTER WHAT YOUR BEING THERE FO EACH OTHER WILL HELP GREATLY. IF YOU NED TO TALK I AM AT AIM AOL'S INSTANT MESSENGER rcmaxsaun@aim.com feel free to write or text0
