Oral Mucosal Melanoma

Merma:
You are not being ignored, I assure you. It may be that there is no one that comes to the discussion area that has experienced this cancer.
Me, I am a head and neck cancer survivor, had half my tongue replaced by part of my arm (along with nerves) and went through chemo and rads.
But I have never heard of the cancer you ask about.
Perhaps it would help you if you asked questions that more folks could answer, such as what chemo is like, what radiation is like, what is this or that surgery like.
We would be glad to help. I just can't reply in the affirmative to the question you ask.
Take care, in any event.0 -

I've already been diagnosed, had the surgery and in radiation, so I know all of that so far. I was just wondering if there was anyone within this group that has had it, or knows someone that has.Yes, it's very rare, so trying to find someone to chat with who knows what I'm talking about has become quite a chore!
Thanks for responding anyway.0 -
True, all that you say. But the experience is familiar to many of us. So if you just want to share your experiences and your fears and your doubts and so forth, we are here for you.Merma said:Soccerfreaks;
