Hi Everyone, if you remember I went on Etoposide 9 weeks ago. At that time my ca125 was 68 went up to 80 and now down to 60. In other words hasn't done a lot in 9 weeks. We are going to try this for another 4weeks and then co a ctscan and ca125, if things haven't improved we will move on to another type of chemo.

Bonnie:
How are you feeling - handling the side affects okay? You are one resilient person! I am so grateful there are many options on the list. I think of you often, and pray for you always. I forgot to ask how your speech went. Wish I could have been there.
Love and hugs,
Monika
P.S. Have you ever heard the song 'For Every Mountain'? It's one of my favorites. If you haven't heard it, I will try to find a copy for you. -
Hi Bonnie, Didn't you say that it took two months for the Doxil to start working? Maybe the Etoposide is similar. At least your number is less than when you started. Are you still having headaches? Has your doctor mentioned which chemo they might try next? My numbers have usually came down very slowly, unlike some of the wonderful huge drops we read about here. So, I understand your disappointment. But, stay strong, and hang in there! Lots of love, prayers, and hugs, MM
