Hi everyone, I'm 16 years old and I've just finished my battle with Hodgkin's, I'm in complete remission. But one thing that has been bothering me is the whole hair ordeal. My last chemo treatment was in February. A few weeks after that, around the beginning of March, my nurse told me that in about 2 weeks I would notice a difference in my hair growth. During chemo I never lost my eyebrows and eyelashes, but I lost my head hair. When I was finished chemo my eyelashes and eyebrows fell out but are growing back now.
But my head hair!
At the beginning of treatment, my hair was falling out all over the place so I decided to shave the remaining hair off. This left short peach fuzz that never fell out. It's been a month and a week since my final treatment, and it's not growing back yet but my other hair is! I feel the fuzz everyday and I never feel/notice a difference. The thing I need help with is Is this peach fuzz going to fall out, or is the new hair going to just continue growing from it? Or do I need to give it more time?
AND WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY HEAD HAIR TO START GROWING BACK???
Help would be much appreciated, thanks a lot.

Hi! I am currently undergoing ABVD treatment for stage II Hodgkins and just shaved my head this past Monday because of the hair loss. I have a freind who finished her treatment at the end of December, and her hair did not start to grow back until April of this year. She too was really frustrated with the slowness of it growing back. However,if its any consolation, when it started to grow in April it has not stopped. It is growing really quickly, and it is the most beautiful silky chocolate brown you would ever want to see. It reminds me of a wet seal's coat, it is so pretty. So hopefully yous is growing now. Good luck!0
