One of my friends from my local support group is having surgery today. Hopefully it will remove the remainder of her pancreatic cancer. She was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer a few years ago. It had spread to her ovaries. That was removed. That's when they found out it was pancreatic cancer. She has since spend 3 years or so on chemo.. It has now shrunk down enough to do surgery, possibly to remove it. She won't know until she wakes up whether they were able to remove it all. Her surgery is at 12:30 today. Send those positive vibes you are all so good at.

You got it Mary. What an amazing story of perseverance. Your friend will be fine, and my prayers are with her. Monica0
