2 years today since bi-lateral
I'm hoping to release 2 bink balloons today to signify my ongoing recovery.
Thanks to all of you out there--not just the ones posting, but everyone involved in our life journeys.
In the spirit of survival,
Becky

Congrat's Becky,
Do release those baloons for yourself. At ten year survival for myself the gratitude only grows. The Gallery is for that purpose to share and express so other's can read. I submitted a speech I gave to Living Well With Cancer Conference and continue to share this with others thanks to the Gallery. You too can find what I wrote there under living well with cancer.
Please Submit because it may help another along the way.

Thank you, Becky!
I'm only about 4 months out from my bilateral mastectomy, and your posting really touched me. It was just what I needed to hear. I sometimes feel like I'll never move on from this, while everyone else close to me seems to. I'm still in shock, and grieving and just getting through each day , while my friends and family think I'm doing great. You somehow made me realize that eventually I will be okay, too. I love the idea of the pink balloons and hope you don't mind if I steal your idea! Thanks for giving me hope and courage for the future. You'll never know how grateful I am for your sharing.
Hugs!

We all go through some form of grieving process. You'll know when and how you will get to the next moment, the next day. Helping others helps me, too.susabella said:Thank you, Becky!

Go for the pink balloons--release the celebration, the anger, the hope, the fear...even if it is just for the moment.
Thinking of you,
