Surgery

Oh Honey, I really hate to hear what's going on with U. I have a friend ,that a couple of years ago, she went through a similar situtation. Her bladder, intestines and all were trying to come out of her -I know it sounds awful-but anyway she had gotten to beyond the point of tolerance. They did the surgeries, they had to rebuild the vaginal wall(between the vagina and the anus)they tacked up her bladder,I don't know exactly what else they did???But I do know after having your bladder done this way you are NOT suppose to do any type of lifting,I am sure your doctor will go over all of it with you.I probably am not wording this quite right-forgive me please,it's just that when I read the post it made me think of my friend Angela. It was an extremely painful process and a slow recovery, just keep up with your pain meds and keep any and all pain under control so healing can continue. We always heal better when we are as comfortable as possible.Angela is doing great these days-I live in a different town but I stopped in and saw her a month ago.
Please write down any questions that concern you so that you can ask the doctor.
My heart goes out to you and you will get through this too-put your computer where U can get to it-we are here for U!

Thank you all for your concern. I learned today that my surgery will be on the 27th of this month. Mssue, you are correct in comparing my situation to your friends. They are the same issues I am dealing with. The only difference will be that I will also have my ovaries out. I have heard too that it is really painful and that the recovery is slow. I just dread it so much and am nervous about it. I am really tired of being ill as I am sure all of you are as well. Warm thoughts to everyone!mssue said:Oh Honey, I really hate to hear what's going on with U.
