Hyperplastic Change (update)

Great news!!!! The biopsies came back clean!!!! I am on top of the world to say the very least! I was told that this term meant there was some enlarging and hardening around the incision area. But, the biopsies showed NO CANCER! My sincerest thanks to all of you who offered your kind support, well wishes and positive thoughts. It is nice to know there are people out there who take the time to care for someone they don't know. My positivity, my daughter, and my boyfriend are what got me through these past two years. And they will continue to help me through every day in the future. I, too, pass positive thoughts to all of you. Whether you are a survivor, caregiver, family member or friend...positive support is always key. Thank you all so much. I can only hope I can help someone in return. God Bless...

    Definitely doing the NAKED HAPPY DANCE!!!! For the good news and for the fact that I am finally getting back into shape! Chemo destroyed my metabolism and I gained weight, which made my Onc. extremely happy. I, on the other hand, was not so pleased not to be able to fit into my size 6 jeans anymore. My Onc. told me not to expect any wieght loss for at least the first year out of chemo. Well, he was right! It is now a year later and I have lost 25 Lbs. in the past 2 1/2 months. I walk 3 miles every day without fail. And it is paying off. I can now get back into my jeans, but they are still a little tight. More work to do...and glad to do it!!!!

    Yup, know the feeling. My cancer treatment center offered a program-free of charge-for breast cancer survivors (my OTHER cancer...hehehehe) at a local upscale gym. It involves personal trainers, nutrition guidance...the WORKS!!! I am already seeing the difference...and this is geared to us that have 'limitations' on our 'special arm'.....
    We shall DEFINATELY do the naked happy dance together (At MY age, everything jiggles anyway, with or without the help of the beast!!!!)
