Just wanted to share some good news and give others hope. I just got my latest CT scan results and am still clean!! Two years since my last chemo, 2 1/2 years since stage 4 diagnosis (3 mets to liver, 8 of 25 nodes positive). Even though I don't post much, I do read often (lurker). Mike

    Congratulations, Mike! I am going on my 2nd year come Nov. 15. I am new to CSN and see the term "NED" quite frequently. What does it stand for?

    NED stands for No Evidence of Disease.

    Congrats on your 2 year mark. "NED" refers to No Evidence of Disease. Mike

    That is great news!!! Wow, 2 1/2 years. You are almost at that 3 year mark. If my memory serves me correctly, didn't you have RFA for your liver mets? Maybe I'm thinking of someone else. Keep in touch. It is nice to hear from survivors like you!!!

    Yes I did have RFA on the liver mets, that was after the chemo in October '04. That's when my onc. actually started my 5 year count.
