Hi Everyone,

Lisa Rose and her husband invited me to stay with them if I came early and since I had never been to Canada and I got a really inexpensive plane ticket, I came. Got in a little while ago. The worst part of the trip was in my originating airport, go figure.

The trees are at their peak and beautiful!!!!!! Lots of water (lakes, rivers and streams) and they don't have near the traffic we do in the states.

Everyone is so friendly and it was absolutely beautiful weather today, 70 degrees!!!

More later, but I just wanted you all to know that the CP4 celebration of life has begun. Pictures will be coming soon.

Off to see some of the local color.

    AWWWWW...I am so very sad that I am not with you all...I got the wonderful opportunity to live in Halifax for a year and was overwhelmed by the Easr Coast hospitality...enjoy the fantastic Fall colours...and PLEASE come back to Canada for Palooza #6 next fall in Niagara Falls..ok???

    Fall colors are so grand...I wish I could have afforded to attend. But Washington took a BIG bite out of my savings as well as my available time off....sigh....

    A few years ago I biked from Banff to Jasper on the Icefield highway, and just loved it. Canada is such a great place! I've threatened to move to Canada several time already. Might just have to do it finally!
