YIPEE.... Tomorrow my Port will be Gone

Another milestone down.... Tomorrow I have the minor surgery lined up to get rid of my port... It was a blessing to have it.... But when it is gone tomorrow, it will be like the last step... to getting my life fully back... I am so excited... I know it is kind of dumb... but getting this silly thing out of my chest.. seems like a true milestone... And on Oct 21, where I live we have what we call the Miracle Mile Walk... for Breast Cancer... So I am going to make this breast cancer awareness month a month to remember....

    Cool! Mine came out 2 weeks ago, after almost 2 years! I don't miss it....it WAS a true friend...but I plan on NEVER NEEDING IT AGAIN!!!!

    I started using Vitamin E oil after the healing had begun...no scar so far!

    I'm dancing for you, Susan!!!!

    BIG (((HUGSSS))) to you! I agree with you. It was a friend but some friendships need to be curtailed. It is NOT dumb it's a WONDERFUL milestone. Praise to you for being a Warrior!

    CONGRATS Susan!!! Nothing dumb at all in your thoughts and feelings. FLOAT, GIRL! It's an amazing accomplishment to have come through so much and with that last apparatus coming out...WOW! Celebrate and enjoy every minute of it.
