    Hi LLLady:

    There are a few annual semi-colon get-togethers which are organized by members on this board. In fact there is one this month in Halifax, Nova Scotia. These are called Paloozas.

    Our mini-palooza takes from that theme. Kerry, who lives in Austin, TX, is visiting the SF area this weekend. She and I met on this board, so we decided to meet up face to face in SF.

    Actually I just got back. We met, had dinner and some wonderful conversations. Kerry, like quite a few other ladies whom I've met through this board, is just so positive, upbeat and all in a modest and understated way, while fight the beast that is cancer. My husband and I are so happy that we had the chance to meet with her. We had a wonderful time!

    Palooza is a meeting of semi-colons. They usually meet a couple times a year, if I am not mistaken. They met earlier this year in Austin and they will meet in October in Halifax.

    In this case, Ying (JADot) lives in San Francisco (SF) and Kerry is visiting. So, two of them are meeting.

    Hi LLLady,

    I did a short clip with pics from Vegas and Austin ~ so just copy the URL and paste. The Vegas clip is a dedication my son Andrew made to Kanort ( Kay ) because she reminded us so much of Mary Tyler Moore. Speaking of Kay I hope she's having a great time in Vegas this weekend. Last week she was in Washington at the COH celebration and next week Halifax, Nova Scotia at CP4.
