I have heard that sclc grows to double it's size every 30 days. Has anyone else heard or read anything like that?

I have heard that sclc is aggressive (that is, it grows and spreads rapidly) but I have also read that it responds well in its early stages to radiation and chemo. If you had two CAT scans or X-rays done that both showed the spot, you could probably do the math to estimate just how fast the spot is growing: growth rate in cm. divided by days. I think pathologists can tell how aggressive a cancer is by determining the percentage of the cells dividing in the biopsy sample. If I find a chart detailing the different growth rates of different cancers, I'll write back.
