To-day was supposed to be my FINAL CHEMO but it was delayed one week because of my blood work results. I'm upset but oh well what does 1 week mean - I'm not the same person I used to be things just don't seem to "jangle my chain" - I've finally learned to relax and take things as they come.

    Yes, this journey DOES teach us patience. Hummm....is THAT why we are called 'patients'???

    sorry you're delayed Joyce, it's so tough isn't it - finally had my last one last week, 2 weeks later than it should have been - enjoy your "week off" the finish line is in sight!!!

    Hey the light at the end of the tunnel is near, and it's not a train :) I think you just have to focus on what a long way you have come and relish your week off. Best of luck w/ the last chemo!

    What do you plan to do to celebrate end of chemo?

    Hi Joyce,

    Sorry that you were delayed. I know it is tough because we have an "end date" on the whole process and are looking towards it. Like the others said, enjoy the week off and you are almost there. Do you have something that you are planning on doing when you are done? I think I was so happy when I could actually drink cold drinks and eat ice cream without it hurting. LOL.
