Add another name to the list
I know that I posted last month that my dad was starting chemo and everyone to pray that he gets through it. Unfortunately he did not. He passed away Sept 9th from pneumonia and other complications. He had CLL and prostrate. This is very hard for me since I was all ready to fight the beast again for him. He and his body were just too tired to continue the fight. He was only 70 years young. We can add him to the list of angels that are looking over us on this board. I talked to him a lot about all the great people here and how much they have helped me. He didn't want to get onto the computer but I think in a way it helped him some after I was dx'd. I hate this beast and this has just made me more determined to help others that are on this journey. HUGS to everyone out there!!

Lisa, my thoughts are with you. What a loss, I am so sorry for you. You are a great daughter to be there for him during this time. So sorry...0

Oh Lisa, I am so sorry to hear about your father. 70 is really very young by today's standard. But I guess you're right in saying that his body was just tired no matter how much the spirits were willing. I hope you and your family are doing well, and are comforted by the thought that he's no longer suffering.

Dear Lisa,
I am so sorry for your loss. It must be very difficult for you and your mother. I hope that you can find comfort in knowing that your father is not suffering any more and he is in much better place now and that he is now watching over you and that one day you will meet again.
May God Bless his soul.

Oh, Lisa. I can't find the words. At the Celebration Lumineria walk, I said a special prayer for everyone here in my CSN family, and their families....
I will say what I said last night, when I found the Lumineria that I had for my friend.....
"He will always be safe in your heart...."
Hugs, dearheart.
