You have an awesome attitude! No doubt Scoutie and the other juicing proponents will chime in here shortly about the benefits of juicing and cutting out sugar and drinking and smoking and celibacy... well, maybe not quite THAT draconian... Anyway, a Google Alert just hit my Treo with the headline: "By starting an exercise program, men may slash their risk of colon polyps and colon cancer..." Here's the link:

Thanks SpongeBob. I try and keep an optomistic attitude. I am interested in learning more about juicing. I already don't dring or smoke and my onc says I can take ed medications during cemo so I guess I don't have to go celibid quite yet. I know exercise is a big factor so I'm going to be working on that. Thanks again and all the best to you!!spongebob said:Sunriver -

One thing I have found with this disease is that it seems to rob your body of iron. A vigorous aerobic regime for 30 minutes 4-5 times a week (when you're up to it, that is - fully recognizing that you are on 2 weeks out from surgery) and weight training 30 minutes 3 times a week helps. I also take an iron supplement daily. I take it with a vitamin C supplement to aid in absorbtion and I stay away from all dairy products/calcium for 2 hours before and after because calcium disrupts the absorbtion of the iron. These might also make your ed meds unnecessary!Sunriver said:Thanks SpongeBob. I try and keep an optomistic attitude. I am interested in learning more about juicing.
