Just had to post. I turned 50 on Thursday...and instead of feeling bummed about it like I might have a couple of years ago. It was a day of success. The beast was beaten and put back in his place... and I was back to enjoying my life.

Just had to share.

Take Care All.

Happy happy Birthday Susan. I know exactly how you feel. I turned 50 a few months ago and I was so excited that I had lived that long. My mother did not live long enough to see her 50th and there were times when I seriously doubted I would.

    Time to party. Celebrate.

    Hugs.

It is an amazing feeling when we actually feel like we have a life to live after so much to have to face. Happy Birthday and I so glad that gratitude comes in many forms.
    Be good to yourself always,

Yippee! Yeah, party on! I have already outlived my mother, who died at 32, and now I have 2 more years to outlive my grandmother, who died at 54! Keep looking forward, not backward.
