I'm so very tired and have come home tonight to try to get a bit of rest. But I want to thank all of you collectively for your replies, suggestions, and prayers. I will try to respond to each of you individually at a later date. Until then, please keep praying for Ron. They are trying to find an effective pain treatment for him. They did 3 blocks today - all unsuccessfully. Tomorrow I believe they will do an epidural - don't know anything much about this. We also have an appointment next Tuesday at Indiana University Oncology. I'm feeling quite weak at the moment and doubt my abilities to handle what is ahead. Please pray that I'll find that strength as the Lord has promised, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". Hard to have the faith right now but I'm trying.

    It's a very difficult situation but try to hang in there. Get some rest yourself as it takes alot of energy even just to worry about someone else much less do all the activities required as a caregiver. We will pray with you.

    Dear dear Lois,
    I'm praying for you sweetie, I know you are tired, and it all seems too much. It's incredibly hard, just try to take it day by day, somtimes it's minute by minute. You and Ron will get through.
    No need to respond to all any or all of us dear, save your strength and try to rest.

    we are all praying for you. As the others have said, make sure to take care of your self. Get rest when you can and don't forget to eat.

    Please take care of yourself. I know how it feels to worry so much about your loved ones and all of a sudden find yourself feeling incredibly exhausted. I will be praying for both you and Ron. God will provide the strength for you to get through this. I agree with everyone else; no need to respond to us. We are just happy to help. That's what we are all here for.

    Hello!! I am sorry for what you are going thru. I will be praying for you and Ron.. There are times when we are all tired and weak and feel like we can't go on, and thats when God picks us up and carries us thru. Hang in there, he'll carry you.... In Gods Love Barbara

    Lance Armstrong got his treatments at the IU Oncology dept....and look where HE is today! KEEP THE HOPE ALIVE.....
