Having been on both sides of the fence, I so very strongly understand alot of the caregiving issues. I was reading in today's local paper about California's Paid Time for Caregiving information, and in the article a reference was made to a website...www.caregiver.org.
Now, after going there, I noticed that much of it is slanted for caregivers of older people, but some of the discussions, including the health effects of caregiving, apply to all of us...
There is a search bar, and I put in cancer. Yes, I got hits...
There is even a page where you can investigate caregiving support groups/services by state. This includes everything from financial support to actual in-home help!!!!
Take a peek if you want, I'm filing it away...
Hugs, Kathi

Hi Kathi:
Thanks for your post! Caregivers definitely make the world go around for those in their care. I am glad that there's some organized support groups out there for them. Caregivers sacrifice so much, there's just not a way to thank and support them enough for all that they do.
So everyone, remember to hug and thank your caretaker today!
Cheers,
