Brachytherapy...?

My husband's brother has just been diagnosed with PC and had a PSA of 5.8, T2c, 4 out of 12 biopsy cores. His doctor didn't give him a gleason grade, but rather used a "color" chart with black being the "worst"....? Anyone hear of this? He also suggested seeds, although he does a lot of surgeries, also, he said. His brother said he didn't have any samples "solid black" but some black points...? Is black the grade 5 cells? I have never heard of this! I think the reason he is leaning towards the seeds is that his doctor does not do the Da Vinci and he is afraid of the side effects of open RP. Anyone have a good experience with brachytherapy to share? Thanks!
