Skin Grafting

I am trying to get a skin graft on my face to heal. My doctor says it either heals or doesn't. He wont say what would happen it if didn't heal. I look at it twice a day and almost become sick. Currently I am using steri strips. Anyone with any skin graft that can give me support with this I would love to talk to. Have a rosey kind of day. Thanks
