Back from 'the Springs'...I'm Jello!!!!

I am now officially JELLO, after 4 1/2 hours of facial, massage, and doing this thing called 'taking of the waters'...first wet sauna, then dry sauna, then aromatherapy dry sauna, then soaking in water from tribal (this is Indian land) hot springs, then resting in a dim, cool room with cucumber on my eyes....WOW!!!!
AND I won $100 at the casino next door!!!!
This was the PERFECT way to say "It's OVER" to all the treatments that vanquished the beast!!!!
Hugs to all,
Kathi

Sounds so perfect! Glad you celebrated in style. And winning is a good sign of good luck to come.
As an aside - are sauna's safe for us? I thought we had to avoid them because of the lymphedema risk. Did you have regular ones, or slightly cooler? I love saunas. I was so sad when they said no more.
Hugs.

Hummmmm, good question....I was in for 10 minutes each...but when I was in the mineral water, I alternated in and out on my left arm....LesleyH said:Sounds so perfect! Glad you celebrated in style. And winning is a good sign of good luck to come.

I had told the therapist about my lymph surgery...but got no negative response...
I DID watch, however, just in case things started expanding...
Interesting all the more, my massage guy did accupressure on my numb area under my arm...and...it's now a smaller area...still some numb...but WOW!
Hugs, Kathi
P.S. The ONLY negative side effect was not wanting to come home (hehehehehe)! -
Well jello lady, you have made me jealous! Sounds like a ripping good time. Sorry about the negative side effect. Don't you hate it when life gets in the way of fun?KathiM said:Hummmmm, good question....I was in for 10 minutes each...but when I was in the mineral water, I alternated in and out on my left arm....
