here I go again...

Anyways...this was just a ( long ) thought....we will keep on fighting it one way or the other...but It doesnt sound bad going to washington an put more pressure not to only have an early prevention, but to erase this beast from the face of the earth for ever, like they have done before with other diseases...
Lets keep on juicing, eating veggies and fruits,.and praying !!!!!
God bless you all

We have to take responsibility over our life style which includes food we eat, water we drink, stress, whether we use alcohol and cigarettes, etc. We should not put this responsibility on the government.
Why alcohol, cigarettes, etc. legal? Because there is free choice in the society and we are responsible for what we do and not those who make those products. -
Yes I must agree with you eleonora. Alcohol and tobacco have been around for a long time. It is a personal choice whether you use them or not, just as it is wheter you choose to eat fruits and veggies. i personally would not lie to live in a nanny state that dictated everything for me.AuthorUnknown said:We have to take responsibility over our life style which includes food we eat, water we drink, stress, whether we use alcohol and cigarettes, etc. We should not put this responsibility on the government.

Yes, we must take responsibility for our own lifestyle. We have choices.
As for our medical care - it is the best in the world, and yes, unfortunately money does make the world go 'round. It has for ever and ever and will continue. Our physicians are the best trained and our pharmaceuticals do a lot of research to find newer drugs all the time. We've come a long way and unfortunately it does not come free. I thank each day that we do not have socialized medicine here in the US.
