Jackie,
I never faced your hubby's situation...mine has been well behaved by staying in the rectum, which currently is in a pathology lab in Irvine...But, I just thought I'd send my good vibes to you both...
Hugs to YOU as such a strong support!
and Hugs to you both in fighting the beast!

Hi Jackie,
Glad you are posting. Welcome. Did you try doing a webpage search using key words "liver mets"? That might give you an idea of what others have been on. I'm glad your husband is doing well. Sending good vibes your way. I'm sure you will get some answers from posts here. The right people just haven't checked yet.

Hi, During my liver resection I had a hepatic pump installed. I had FUDR administered through the pump and CPT11 done systemically. I have had a clear liver since. I also had lung mets (9 of them) and I've been on Erbitux and CPT11 for 10 months. Most all of the mets are gone and I just had surgery to remove the last sucker. I'm back on Erbitux and CPT11 for another 6 months then I'll live happily ever after...
Hope this helps
