Morning Goatgirl,
I'm sorry to hear of your Father's rising PSA. My Father was probably about the same age when diagnosed and he will celebrate his 94th birthday this coming November. So, don't give up hope!!
I will check with Mom this weekend and try to find out what Drug Dad is on, I can't remember. I want to say it is Casodex, but am not sure.
Anyway, keep the faith and I will say a prayer for your Dad.

I talked to Mom and the drug Dad has been on for several years is Casodex! I thought it was but was not sure.
Hope the current treatment your Dad is receiving is creating good results. I'll continue to keep him in my prayers. Please keep us posted.

Thanks, Roger, for the encouragement. Dad was on casodex, but it didn't help him. He has now had two rounds of taxeture and found out yesterday, his PSA is down to 137.2. It's still high, but at least it is coming down. Oncologist says she will do another bone scan soon. So far, he still hasn't had any "boney" pains. His spirits have lifted with just that drop in PSA. He also went yesterday and had a port put in. Oncologist told him he would be on taxeture "hopefully for years". Thanks again.rogermoore said:Goatgirl,
