Cant't offer any solutions, have been on that cocktail, but no hippups. Medication prescribed sounds very severe. Hope someone had an answer for you.

I get the hicups as well . Not as bad as your husbands . I wish I had some answers for you . But I asked my Onc. about them and he said that some people get them pretty bad . Mine usually cleared up after a few days .I also would get a bad case of the sneezes . I asked my Dr. about them as well and once again told me yep another side effect . With that he also told me that he likes to hear about side effects ..."Means that the chemo is working "

Hi Bev,
I've never had the reaction on oxi, so it might be the xeloda. Did you tell the onc that the meds are too strong? Maybe there is something else he can take. Also do you have a naturopathic doctor you can ask? Most times natural doesn't have so many side effects. Good Luck and keep us posted.
