Anniversary (of sorts)
One year ago I was diagnosed. Doesn't really seem something to celebrate, but a year ago I had no idea - after internet searches - if I would even be alive today, and today I am quite alive and much better informed. So, something to celebrate I think - sort of!

Betsy,
You may not think that one year means much, but I think that it is very significant. You are beating this thing, and you should be so proud of yourself. Here's to hoping and praying that you will have many, many more anniversaries. You are an inspiration to so many of us.

Hi Betsy! This one year means you are beating the odds. This means you are not going to be a statistic but a conqueror! These milestones help us to realize that we can beat this thing. Every statistic we read is based on studies of old treatments-let yourself begin to believe that you will be here a long long time. We will be old ladies logging on to tell all the young ones how they will make it too one day. God bless-Nancy0

Happy Anniversary, Betsy!
My one year diagnosis anniversary was May 11, and it was one year ago from May 23 that I had my colon removed, so we're the same age in that sense. I'm taking a little vacation to celebrate my one year (in Sarajevo right now) ... maybe you can think of a grand way to celebrate another year of life, and get ready for the next year of life.

AND, Nancy, telling them that we had to walk barefoot thru the snow, uphill, both ways, everyday for treatments (hehehehehe)!NanD said:Hi Betsy! This one year means you are beating the odds.
