Thank you, and Happy Mother's Day to all of you mothers out there. This is my very first mother's day. I have a 6 month old baby girl and she is such a joy in my life. I love being a mother to her. I never thought that being a mother could bring so much joy to my life in spite of everything I am going through with my dad. I'm just hoping that this will be a great mother's day week and that we will get good news from my dad's CAT scan results tomorrow.

Happy Mothers Day to you as well . My Husband and Kids headed out to New Mexico To attend My step daughters Graduation . My daughter will also be receiving her Confimation . I was going to go, But because my darn platelets were to low last week chemo was put off until this week . The good news is that My oldest son flew in to stay with me I have not seen him since Christmas right after I was diagnosed . I was looking pretty rough back then . So I am happy that he can see how much better I am doing!! He heads off to Boot Camp next month .(yikes)
Take Care and God Bless.

PLEASE tell me he joined the Coast Guard and didn't make a HUGE error in judgment by joining the NAVY! -
Well lets see I just talked with him and he said that its not really Boot camp its a Officer traing course . After that he returns back to New Mexico state to finish getting his Nursing Degree . Then he will be a commisioned officer in the Army, as a second Lt. He owes them six years in return for the benefits he is recieving while in college.spongebob said:Debra -

Make sure the "senior" gives him some good ground-pounder advice like, find a good E-7 to mentor you - after all, they REALLY run the military.
Cheers
