Stereotactic Biospy Done

Hey all! Had that dreadfully awaited stereotactic biospy yesterday and YEEHAW!!!!!!! it's over with and I don't have to dwell on it any more. Took the valium an hour before the procedure, but I think a few glasses of wine would have worked just as well. :-) Everything went okay but what got to me the most were the shots of pain killers. Everytime the surgeon got ready to take more tissue, she'd give me a shot for a total of five times. Don't get me wrong, I would definately would want the shots but didn't expect them to feel worse each time. They got lots of the calcification clusters but some are still in there. They did get enough for the pathologist though. My breast is really sore today and kinda feels like it's full of bricks. Weird. Anyhoo, now the wait begins. They are going to try to get me the results by Friday afternoon. Either way it comes out I'll accept it. Gonna keep good thoughts. :-)
