Barb,
I've noticed the same thing. I came here to this site when the number of posts on our site was about 3500.... You are right about not knowing whether this is a good thing or not, but the way I see it, we are getting the word out that colorectal cancer effects a whole lots of folks and has been in the past just swept under the rug. We are bringing it to the forefront of major cancers that needs attention because there are a whole lot of us out here that (obviously) are not going to keep quiet.

Hi Barb,
I think the reason is that we are getting so many new people that I am glad have found this site. I know that it has helped me so much. It is also because we all have so many questions when new and it is great to find somewhere that has so many people that have gone through this. So I guess there are good reasons why and bad.

(Uh oh...the sarcastic person responding...look out)....
My colon snuck up on my breast awhile back....hehehe (sorry)!
I have told EVERYONE that will listen about this site...and how great it is...even those with no immediate connection to CRC.
There is a family here, and we protect each other...must be because we have the cancer that 'shouldn't be brought up in polite conversation'....hahaha
remember, CRC IS PREVENTABLE....
Hugs,
