CYMBALTA
In my earlier post "My Dr. Appt." I mention that my new Dr. told me of a antidepressant that works for depression and are finding that it helps with neuropathy. I am not on it yet but the plan is to switch me to it .
Anyways platelets are up and I will be receiving my 9th treatment tomorrow (yuck). I am so nervous . I am not looking forward to it . Guess I better fluff up a pillow for my fanny pack friend errrr.

Thank you Bud .nanuk said:this drug is an effective anti-depressant, and has the additional benefit of relieving pain and neuropathy-something having to do with recepters in the brain..but it works. An initial, but transient side effect is drowsiness, which passes
in about a week.
I hadn't looked it up yet . I am so glad that it is effective drug . And I really like that it causes drowsiness . Then I can take it at night and get a good nights sleep . Most antidepressant make me to hyper .I am a nervous nellie as it is !!!! Wish I didn't have to take anything ,But the current one I am on helped pull me out of a very deep depression.
