Fluid in Lungs Anyone?

Hi, my dad has stage 4 with mets to lungs is now on Xeloda and he was experiencing discomfort for a few weeks in his back and just found out he has fluid in one of his lungs. Did anyone out there ever have fluid in their lungs? Im curious why something like this would happen. Thank you and best wishes to you all. Mindy
