I posted this for Kerry 'cos this reply has now dropped off the page.Geez...is that a relief gal...I was worried 'bout yah! Hope you don't mind.Just wanted to be sure everyone knows you are ok.luv Ross n Jen
from Kerry; My doctor reported that I am doing "excellent". Hooray! My CEA dropped again, now it is 2.6 and he suspects that it will drop even more by the next visit. Blood work came out good, my liver enzymes have dropped tremendously back into the normal range. AND, best of all, NO MORE CHEMO, at least for a while.
He said my body is still healing from 30 radiation treatments and it appears the those nasty cells are still dying.
Anyway I feel wonderful with this news.
Thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers. Now GET SOME SLEEP.... you will need your energy for Austin.
Jana, lunch yesterday did me so much good as well. You were in my prayers first thing this morning. I will check with you in a couple of days, if I don't hear from you. And I did see lots of Bluebonnets, Indian Paintbrush, Buttercups and many other wildflowers on my drive home. Just beautiful. I took some photos to share with some folks.
Thanks everyone for all your prayers. I go for a CAT scan in May - that will tell the real story, but for now Carpe Diem.
