Ok. So life is crazy and I have not posted here in awhile. My update is im am 3 years cancer free. I descided to throw a party in my honor at the end of this month. Invited all my family and friends. They say only I can get away with it too. I will be 25 next month. And there is finally light on me getting my own place. Financially so far Im set for june just need to find a place. Took me 3 years to get to that point. If my car doesnt break down again then I am set. Just thought I would let everyone know my updates. Hope to see more postings here soon. I hope to scheduel another young survivors chat if I see there is still interest.

Good to hear that you are 3 years cancer free, my son was just dx with osteosarcoma and is 14 years old, he just finished his first round of chemo and has been in bed for the past 6 days, he has no energy and i dont know if this is normal?

I didnt have energy for awhile and I only had surgery. It took me awhile to get back up to a somewhat "normal" energy level. I mean before it was that in one day Id do a lot because I felt up to it but then that would leave me exausted for days. I think cancer and the fight against it and mental struggle naturally wear a person out. So I would say its normal but also talk to his doctor about it. There could be something out there to help with the lack of energy or something that could be done differently.

Hi! I am also 3 years cancer free and 25 years old. Had my first surgery on my 21st b-day for Wilms' tumor. Would love to schedule a young survivors chat. I have lots to say and am running out of people to tell it to!
