Recent conversation w/mom!
First off... I wanted to say "thank you" to all the responded to my first and definitely not last posting. I cannot tell you how happy I am that I made the decision to join this family!
I promise once I leave work here I "will" respond to all that have so kindly e-mailed me!
And quick question here... I talked with my mom about 1/2 hour ago and she's worried about the cost of her meds on a monthly basis; does anyone know how I can get her and her husband some additional financial assistance?
Probably a long shot here; but I just thought I would ask you all so...
Take Care, God Bless, & you all are in my sincerest thoughts and prayers!
Mary

Yes, Bruce, I just saw an ad on TV for help offered by CVS pharmacy. They went to bat for a patient that needed some financial help with meds, worked with co and patient, meds now free.fedester said:hi mary,
is mom employed or is she retired on medicare??
there is one site cancercare.org that offers all kinds of help. also i think she can call the manufacture of her meds and they can offer help.
i am sure there are many more sites available.
all the best
