Ovarian Cancer Study

My sister has just finished her chemo of stage 3B Ovarian cancer and has been offered to do a study for 12 months..we find out on March 9 if she will receive taxol, some new drug or no treatment..I was wondering anybody else out there on this study....and any thoughts on whether this will help her from having re-occurance...thanks annefrances

    has your sister had debulking surgery? How succesful did they say that was? A study couldn't hurt if she is already in remission and it might increase her chances of not reoccuring. My prayers are with you and her.

    Yes, she has had surgery and is considered cancer free now! Thanks for your response! We will know when about a week what course her study will be for her.We are hoping it will not bring her down as she has gone back to work.
