    I am sorry to be so long to respond. I have been busy and haven't had time to read the posts. As far as my ablation surgery, I had it done after 7 months of chemo. They weren't sure if the cancer was still alive because it wasn't showing up on PET scans, only CT scans. My surgical oncoloigist is based here in Portland, Oregon.     Mike, please forward your email address. Mark has a house in Portland and would relocate for the right treatment and if he were covered by insurance.
