After 6 rounds of folfiri and avastin we had great news- stable (10% shrinkage)- my question is to others on this regimen- how many treatments did it take for any of you to get either a full or partial response?
Thanks for your response.

I started on the FOLFIRI with Avastin treatment in March 2004. I had small mets to the liver (largset one about 2 cm). Within two months they showeed about a 50% reduction in size on CT. In August 2004 they wer the same size on CT but weren't seen on PET scan. We weren't sure if the CT scan was just picking up dead cancer or if there was still some alive, so I had radiofrequancy ablation of the mets. Been NED since October 2004. Mike
